John Wesley Ross
(September 11, 1957 - June 28, 2025)

John Wesley Ross, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 28, 2025 at his home in Dolores, CO.

John was born on Wednesday September 11, 1957 in Waynesboro, VA, a son of Lurty Herbert Ross and Spicy (Otelia) Wade Ross.

John was predeceased by his parents.

John is survived by his sisters, Susan (Denise) Ross Walker, Karen (Patricia) Ross Bartelme, Joan (Marie) Ross Sutton; and brother, David Anthony Ross.

John was a 1975 graduate of Waynesboro High School in Waynesboro, VA.

In lieu of a formal service, a gathering of friends to celebrate John’s life will be held on July 13, 2025 at John’s favorite restaurant, Montezuma Mexican Restaurant, 1319 Railroad Ave., Dolores, CO 81323.
